As this is something new I am starting, let me lay down some context. Each Friday I shall start discussing new startups through the week from different parts of the world to augment my own imagination and share thoughts and ideas with the entrepreneur in you — thus calling them “Startup Fridays”. One of my core values is entrepreneurship as I see it as a massive enabler of education, better living standards, employment, and overall betterment of communities. I have always wanted to be a founder and by learning about more of such endeavors I hope I can provide ideas, food for thought, and brainstorming opportunities to other aspiring entrepreneurs as well. Let us get to it then. This week I shall discuss Rally, Payslice, and Abhieo at the minimum. Yes — I am late a day — as it is Saturday already. Let us get to it then and discuss RALLY !!!

Rally — wholesale discounts through group buying

This startup comes to us from Philadephia, Pennsylvania — the city where the great Kyle Lowry hails from. Let’s Go Raptors. Sorry, I digress. The concept on which this startup relies is that buying at scale reduces the price per unit. Thus, if you can bargain on behalf of your consumers in a marketplace by allowing them to buy in bulk, you have a business.
